I grew up in the beautiful Val Gardena, in the heart of the Dolomites and I discovered my passion for the mountains early on. However, the training to become a mountain and ski guide took a number of detours. First, I studied music at the Bolzano Music Conservatory and at the Bruckner University in Linz. This was followed by studying civil engineering in the wonderful city of Bologna.

My family is very important in my life: my wife Ingrid and my three wonderful children Elia, Samuel and Lucas.

 

It gives me great pleasure to share my passion for the mountains with others, to guide my customers through the Dolomites in different disciplines and to show them the most beautiful places. When working with my clients, I always try to respond to their personal needs and to consider their strengths and weaknesses in the shared adventure. But the enjoyment factor can‘t be missed out either.
